WHITE, Edward Geoffrey

Enlisted at Maryborough on the 02/09/1914 at age 22 years 2 months. Son of Dr. Edward Alexander White and Mable White, of Margate, Kent, England. His next of kin (NOK), Mrs. Mable White of Glen Avos Gayndah. On enlistment he was 5 ft 7 inch and weighed 130 lbs and stated his occupation as a Fruit grower. He landed with the 9th Bn. on Gallipoli on the 25/04/1915 and was wounded with a gunshot wound to his upper arm. Information sourced from the Australian War Memorial records.
