Enlisted in Brisbane, 15/09/1916 age of 28 years. Son of Charles and Mary Thureson of Gayndah. His address on enlistment Gayndah. His next of kin (NOK), Father, Mr Charles Thureson, Gayndah.

 

On enlistment he was 5ft 8, weighed 150 lbs and stated his occupation as a Cook. Unit embarked from Sydney. He was wounded in 1918. Returned to Australia 05/01/1919.
