Enlisted at Maryborough on the 25/10/1916 age 24 years. His next of kin (NOK), Wife Mrs Mary Ann Sweet, Bon Accord via Gayndah. On enlistment he was 5ft 9 inch, weighed 146 lbs and stated his occupation as a Farmer.
