Enlisted at Maryborough, 07/09/1915 at age 20 years. He worked for L Y Sadlier, Gayndah. His NOK, Father, S. Stewart, Biggenden. On enlistment he was 6ft, weighed 164 lbs and stated his occupation as a Saddler. Returned to Australia and discharged 01/03/1919.
