Enlisted at Brisbane 19/08/1915 age 23 years. His next of kin (NOK), Father, Mr J Old, Police Station, Gayndah. On enlistment he was 5ft 9, weighed 126 lbs and stated his occupation as a Clerk. Unit embarked from Brisbane. He was wounded twice. He returned to Australia and discharged 1919.
