Enlisted at Brisbane 01/09/1914 age 23 years. His address, Mundubbera. His next of kin (NOK), Father, Mr Wm Muir, Mount Debatable, Gayndah.

 

On enlistment he was 5ft 9, weighed 154 lbs and stated his occupation as a Farmer. Unit embarked from Brisbane. He landed on Gallipoli on the 12/05/1915. Returned to Australia 13/12/1915 and discharged as medically unfit.
