Enlisted in Toowoomba on the 17/01/1916 at the age of 28 years. Son of James Morley and Hannah, of Hollington, Brailsford, Derbyshire, England.
On enlistment he was 5 ft 5 inches and weighed 151 pounds. on the 18/10/1917 he was wounded with gunshot wounds to abdomen, left leg and right leg blown off.
