Enlisted at Brisbane 27/03/1916 age 23 years. His next of kin (NOK), Mother, Mrs Ann McKeon, Bundaberg. On enlistment he was 5ft 5, weighed 154 lbs and stated his occupation as a Farmer.
Unit embarked on 20/04/1916. He was wounded 03/09/1916 with a gunshot wound forearm. Returned to Australia and discharged 23/05/1917.
