Enlisted 03/01/1915 age 33 years. His address on enlistment, Mundubbera. His next of kin (NOK), Wife, Mrs Petronella Mahoney, Mundubbera.
On enlistment he was 5ft 3, weighed 134 lbs and stated his occupation as a School Teacher. He left Australia for service overseas. He was wounded 28/11/1917 and remained on duty. On the 22/09/1918 he was placed Second in Command of the 5th LHR Regiment. He returned to Australia and discharged 29/03/1920.
