Enlisted at Brisbane 01/09/1914 age 36 years. His address, Gayndah. His next of kin (NOK), Wife, Mrs. O. Jones, Gayndah. On enlistment he was 5ft 11, weighed 172 lbs and stated his occupation as a Farmer.

 

He was at Gallipoli for two months. He was returned to Australia 15/11/1915

for discharge as Medically Unfit suffering Asthma.
