JONES, James Percy

The son of Mr Joseph and Mrs Jones of Gayndah. Enlisted 18/08/1915 at Brisbane and went into Enoggera Camp. He left Australia for service overseas and went into the firing line.

 

He was wounded in action 08/08/1916 with gunshot wound to left scapular. Sent to England for recovery but found to medically unfit for further active service. Returned to Australia 13/02/1917.
