Enlisted at Maryborough. He enlisted 31/01/1917 age 21 years. His address, Gayndah. His next of kin (NOK), Father, Mr Joseph Jones, Gayndah.

 

On enlistment he was 5ft 8, weighed 141 lbs and stated his occupation as Machinist. He left Australia for service overseas. He returned to Australia and discharged 1919.
