Enlisted at Brisbane 14/10/1915 at age 35 years. His address on enlistment was Yarrabil, Didcot. His next of kin (NOK), Wife, Mrs M Z Jones, Yarrabil. On enlistment he was 5ft 10, weighed 155 lbs and stated his occupation as a Grazier. He was returned to Australia and discharged 1917 Medically Unfit.
