Enlisted at Maryborough. He enlisted 04/04/1916 age 26 years. His address, Gayndah. His next of kin (NOK), Wife, Mrs Constance Johnson, Gayndah.

 

On enlistment he was 5ft 5, weighed 147 lbs and stated his occupation as Cordial manufacturer. He left Australia for service overseas. He returned to Australia and discharged 28/08/1919.
