Enlisted at Gympie 07/09/1914 age 34 years. His address, Gayndah. His next of kin (NOK), Mother, Mrs Lucy Williams, Gayndah. On enlistment he was 5ft 9, weighed 158 lbs and stated his occupation as a Labourer.
He took part in the landing at Gallipoli on 25/04/1915 and was wounded 01/05/1915. He returned to Australia and discharged 29/12/1915.
