Enlisted at Brisbane on the 07/03/1917 age 29 years. His next of kin (NOK), Mother Mrs Martha Easlea of Lace’s Creek North Pine. On enlistment he was 5ft 5, weighed 115 lbs and was Farming at Reids Creek Gayndah. On the 25/06/1918 he was gassed and rejoined his unit on the 28/06/1918.
