Enlisted at Maryborough 15/12/1917 age 18 years. His next of kin (NOK), Father, G. E. Dent, Woodstock, Dappil Gayndah Line. On enlistment he was 5ft 7, weighed 144 lbs and stated his occupation as a Stockman. He returned to Australia and discharged 01/03/1919.
