Enlisted at Brisbane on 05/06/1917 age 18 years. His next of kin (NOK), Sister Miss Margaret Annie Denny of “Glen Eden” Humphrey Siding Gayndah.
On enlistment he was 5 ft 10 and weighed 144 lbs. He was wounded on the 14/07/1918 with a gunshot wound to right leg. His records show that he returned to Australia per “Madras” and discharged 04/09/1919.
