Enlisted at Brisbane 10/02/1917 age 43 years. His next of kin (NOK), Wife, Mrs Sarah Ann Darlington, Reids Creek Gayndah.

 

On enlistment he was 5ft 4, weighed 160 lbs and stated his occupation as a Farmer at Gayndah. Returned to Australia in 1918.
