Enlisted at Brisbane 15/03/1916 age 21 years. His next of kin (NOK), Brother, Wm Cronin, Brisbane. On enlistment he was 5ft 11, weighed 155 lbs and stated his occupation as a Labourer.

 

He left Australia for service overseas. He was wounded 07/06/1917 with gunshot wound to lower back. He was returned to Australia 26/09/1917 and discharged as medically unfit.
