Enlisted at Brisbane 21/01/1916 age 26 years. His next of kin (NOK), Father, J. Call, England. On enlistment he was 5ft 5, weighed 140 lbs and stated his occupation as a Farmer at Gayndah. He was wounded in action 08/08/1916 gunshot wound to hand. He returned to Australia and discharged 1919.
