Enlisted at Brisbane 28/10/1915 at age 40 years. His next of kin (NOK), Wife, Mrs Frances Mabel Bowerman, Gayndah. On enlistment he was 5 ft 8 and weighed 174 lbs and stated his occupation as a Farmer. He left Australia for service overseas. He returned to Australia and discharged 21/09/1919.
