Enlisted at Brisbane. He enlisted 10/03/1916 age of 18 years. His address Merlwood, via Murgon. His next of kin (NOK), Mother, Mrs. Mary Adams, Merlwood.
On enlistment he was 5ft 5, weighed 110 lbs and stated his occupation as Farmer. He left Australia for service overseas. He was wounded in action in 1917 with gunshot wound to his chest. He returned to Australia and discharged 1919.
