HAZEL, Edward George (Tody)

Tody was a Waka Waka man. He grew up in Gayndah and attended Gayndah State School. His family moved to Biggenden and Tody started working in various farm work. He excelled at rugby league. He enlisted in the Australian Regular Army on 25/01/1951.

 

On the 19/04/1952 he married Miss Gloria Dawn Davis at Urangan. He had one son Edward who was born just prior to him being posted to Korea. Served in Korea 02/06/1953. On the 14/07/1953 he was buried with full military honours in the United Nations Cemetery at Busan.
