Enlisted at Maryborough 03/03/1917 age 18 years. His address on enlistment was Byrnestown. His next of kin (NOK), Father, Mr Malcolm Ritchie, Byrnestown. On enlistment he was 5ft 6, weighed 113 lbs and stated his occupation as a Labourer. He was wounded 1918. He returned to Australia and discharged 1919.
