Enlisted at Brisbane 20/01/1916 age 29 years. His address, Gayndah. His next of kin (NOK), Wife, Mrs Violet Michie, Brisbane. On enlistment he was 5ft 5, weighed 125 lbs and stated his occupation as an Underground Worker. Unit embarked from Melbourne. On the 10/04/1918 it was posted that Spr Michie was officially missing at Ploegsteert Village.
