LOWE, John Edward

Enlisted at Brisbane 31/12/1915 age 19 years. His address, Gooroolba, Gayndah. His next of kin (NOK), Mother, Mrs Elizabeth Lowe, Gooroolba.

 

On enlistment he was 5ft 9, weighed 135 lbs and stated his occupation as a Labourer. He left Australia for service overseas. He was wounded 1918 with a gunshot wound to thigh. He was awarded the Military Medal (MM) for “Work near Proyart on 12/08/1918”. He returned to Australia with wife and discharged 29/03/1920.
