Enlisted at Brisbane 26/09/1914 age 26 years. His address, Gayndah. His next of kin (NOK), Brother, Mr Arthur Hunt, Tas. On enlistment he was 5ft 4, weighed 131 lbs and stated his occupation as a Farmer.

 

He landed on Gallipoli 25/04/1915 and was wounded in August 1915. On the 18/08/1917 he was wounded again after a shell exploded close to him. He was returned to Australia and discharged 01/05/1918.
