Enlisted at Brisbane 18/08/1915 age 21 years. His next of kin (NOK), Brother, Walter Cooper, Reids Creek, Gayndah. On enlistment he was 5ft 4, stated his occupation as a Labourer. In August 1918 he was wounded to right foot. He returned to Australia and discharged 04/05/1920.
