Enlisted at Maryborough 19/08/1914 age 19 years. His address, Gooroolba. His next of kin, Mrs M Lynch, Gooroolba. On enlistment he was 5ft 8, weighed 186 lbs and stated his occupation as a Rly Employee. He left Australia for service overseas. He was wounded on Gallipoli. Returned to Australia and discharged 11/05/1919.
