BOOTH, Norman Henry

Enlisted at Brisbane 30/03/1915 His next of kin, Mother, Mrs S Booth, Wooroolin, Kingaroy. His address was Gooroolba. On enlistment he was 5ft 7, stated his occupation as a Seaman.

 

He was Mentioned in Despatches (MID) for ‘Work at Bullecourt, Ginchy, Martinpuich and Le Sars.’ Awarded, and promulgated, ‘London Gazette’, second Supplement, No. 30448, 28 December 1917; ‘Commonwealth Gazette’ No. 57, 18 April 1918. Recommendation date: 27 September 1917. He returned to Australia and discharged 15/08/1919.
